Your choice

Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you say yes, and you can change your choice whenever you like.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser so it can remember something between one page and the next — that you are signed in, for example. “Session storage” does a similar job but is wiped when you close the tab. The law lets a site use the ones essential to providing what you asked for without asking; anything else needs your permission first.

Essential — always on

These are set by us, on this site only, and are never used to track you.

Analytics and advertising — only with your permission

If you allow them, these tools help us understand how people use the site and which adverts lead to enquiries. They are loaded through Google Tag Manager, and nothing from Google is loaded for this purpose until you agree.

Other companies

Some things on the site come from other companies, who have their own cookie policies:

  • Google Maps — when you look up an address or see the route map on our quote, the map service loads from Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google’s cookie policy.
  • Stripe — when you pay, you do so on Stripe’s secure payment page, which uses its own cookies to prevent fraud. Stripe’s cookie policy.
  • WhatsApp — our “Message on WhatsApp” links open WhatsApp, where WhatsApp’s own terms apply.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link at the foot of any page to change your choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings — though blocking the essential ones will stop you signing in to your portal.
